Concentrated Solar Power DES

Concentrated solar power is a new energy application process different from PV power generation. It is a process of converting solar energy into heat energy and then into electric energy. After being collected by a heat collector (e.g. a condenser), the solar heat energy heats the heat transfer medium to a high temperature of several hundred degrees. The heat transfer medium passes through a heat exchanger to generate high-temperature steam, thereby driving a steam turbine to generate electric energy. The heat transfer medium is mostly heat transfer oil and molten salt. Usually, we divide the whole concentrated solar power system into four parts: heat collection sub-system, heat transmission sub-system, heat storage and heat exchange sub-system, and power generation sub-system.
